A shopfront that's easy to read at midday can disappear once the sun goes down. Illuminated Shop Signs are built around an internal light source so the frontage stays visible and legible well after dark, when a lot of footfall and passing traffic happens.
How much light a sign needs, and how it's positioned, depends on viewing distance and what's around it at night — we specify for the actual site rather than defaulting to one approach.

Face material, LED brightness and dimming all affect how the sign reads after dark. We work through the options so contrast and colour hold up against neighbouring shopfronts.
